Canada's most famous clock stopped early Wednesday morning, the first time since it was installed on the 92-metre tall Peace Tower 25 years ago.

The clock on the Peace Tower of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa is seen frozen at 7:28 a.m. on Wednesday, the first time it stopped in 28 years. (Fred Chartrand/ Canadian Press)
The hands of the four clocks that adorn each side of the Peace Tower ground to a halt at 7:28 a.m. after a small electrical relay malfunctioned.

The carillon of 53 bells timed to chime every quarter-hour are controlled by a mechanism connected to the now kaput clock.
Dozens of tourists crowded around the Centennial Flame snapping photos of Parliament Hill were quick to notice the incorrect time on the clock, and the sound of silence.

"I was disappointed not to hear the bells. I have never been here before and, yes, it was a highlight for me," said one tourist.
Government officials said the clock is only in need of a simple repair, but it may be days before it can be fixed.
The American company that built the clock, the Verdin Company in Ohio, is sending a technician from a subsidiary in southern Ontario.

Government officials estimate it could take up to 72 hours for the repair work to begin.

Hi Faytene:

GOD IS SPEAKING!!!!

Notice also that it is estimated that it will take 72 hours to fix the problem!

"Truly, truly, I say unto you," says the Lord, "pay attention to the time!"

Watch and pray,

This is right on the heels of the private member's bill which "Dennis Bevington, the newly elected NDP member of Parliament for the federal riding of Western Arctic..." is trying to implement.

He, along with many other members of parliament would like to change Canada's current motto "from sea to sea", which came from Psalm 72:8 and was introduced in 1906. In the 100th anniversary of this motto, these members would like to change God's word to add an extra "sea" in order to accomodate for our northern bordering sea.

The clock stopped at 7:28.

This is our God from yesterday, today, and forever, establishing his dominion over Canada, this is His land, we are His people.

He says in Revelation:
"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." Revelation 22:18-19
