This is draft one of the cover of my next book....still very much in progress. This is like the ultra-sound. :) Appreciate your prayers as we work to birth this baby!

Cool! That's the book I've been waiting for!
My husband and I were recently in Ottawa for the swearing in ceremony for our MP. We were very much taken by the imagery in the carvings there. In particular we noticed on one of the stone faces in the foyer of the House of Commons, I think, a picture of a mother teaching 3 or 4 children from a book. We asked the interpreters and they said it was depicting the home education of pioneer children. I was very encouraged that God ordained such a tribute to homeschooling mothers and families as being foundational in our nation. We also sensed that the images in the Senate were 'darker' than those in the House of Commons which had overtly Christian themes. We felt this confirmed to us that there are issues there that need to be addressed in the Spirit.
This has traditionally been our "general use" blog. However, in 2010 we are transitioning it to our "writers blog." In the weeks to come you will find great articles on a variety of topics on it for your perusal. We hope you will come back often and use it as an editorial source of information.
